A Memorial Planning directive allows you to state your final instructions to loved ones and it will typically include a person's wishes regarding:

• The type of service (religious or secular), readings, etc.
• The tone of the service (music, speakers, your thoughts)
• Treatment of remains (cremation, burial, etc.)

Additionally, a Memorial Planning directive may also include information about your life insurance or disability coverage, and estate planning instructions to your loved ones.
